The Rotary Club of Gander will be holding a food drive for the food banks in Gander at the Christmas Parade on Dec. 3rd.  Please bring along a food item and members of the Rotary will pick them up!



The Gander Lion's Club Santa Claus Parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3rd.  Forming up at Gander Academy at 5:30.  If you wish to submit an application for a float, drop by the Steele Community Centre or call 651-5927.




Get your table of 6 and join the Gander 50+ Club for their weekly card games every Thursday night beginning at 8pm at the Lions Centre.  Good prizes and a 50/50 draw each night.



The Salvation Army Women's Ministry will hold their Afternoon Tea and Sale on Saturday, Nov. 26th at 2pm.  Tickets are now available at the Church office by calling 256-8474.



The Gander Ministerial Association's Annual Christmas Service will take place at St. Joseph's Church, 10 Bishop Street on Monday, Dec. 12th at 7pm.



The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign in Gander is underway.  Kettles are located at the Gander Mall, Fraser Mall, Walmart and Dominion. Your support is greatly appreciated.  if you have time to volunteer on a kettle,  Call Wanda Loder at 256-4480.



The Salvation Army Gander is having their Second Annual Santa Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 10am.  For more details call the church office or call 256-8474.



Join the town of Gander as it lights the Town Christmas Tree in front of the Town Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 30th at 7pm.  There will be performances by the Gander Salvation Army Band and the Beyond the Overpass Youth ensemble.  Hot Chocolated will be provided by the Evangel Pentecostal Church to keep you warm!



St. Paul's Intermediate - Gander will hold Parent Teacher interviews on Thursday, Nov. 24th from 1-4pm and 6-7:30pm.



Due to scheduling conflicts the performace of "Two into One" will now take place on Friday Nov. 25th and Saturday, Nov. 26th at 8pm.



Appleton Town Hall will be hosting Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 10th from 9:30-11:00am.  Tickets are available at the town hall or by calling 679-5503.  Tickets are $8 each or $4 for kids 12 and under.



The Gander and Area Chamber of Commerce 16th Annual Joe and Clarice Goodyear Business Achievement Awards Gala will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 30th at Hotel Gander.  Tickets are available at the Chamber office or by calling 256-7110.



There will be a craft sale at the Royal Canadian Legion on Nov. 26th from 10am to 4pm.  Tables are available at $10 each by calling 424-0757 or 256-4144.  No admission but there will be tickets available for purchase on a basket of donated crafts.  Coffee and Sandwiches will be available to purchase for $3.



The Ducks Unlimited Sportsman Bash will take place at Legends in Gander on Saturday, Nov. 26th from 1:30-5:30pm.  Raffles and Prizes.  No Cover charge.  Win all kinds of sporting goods.  Happy Hour Prices all afternoon and kitchen specials.  For more info contact Paul at 486-7674.



Keep Christ in Christmas Walk will take place at the Rev'd James Reid Centre (Formerly St. Martin's Parish Centre) on Tuesday, Dec. 6th at 6:30pm.



The Gander and District Chapter of the Ostomy Canada Society will host their annual Christmas Party on Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 11:30am at the Highlight Restaurant in Gander.  There is no cost for lunch.  For more info call Delilah at 256-4647.



The Happy Tree Concert will take place at the J.R Smallwood Arts and Culture Centre on Nov. 27th at 7:30pm.  Tickets available now at the box office or at artsandcultrecentre.com and are $20.  All proceeds to the Happy Tree.
